Too many Christians are looking for "formulas" on how to get blessed... A lot of these teachers have gotten revelations in an area that everyone than applies as doctrine instead of sticking to only the Word.

A friend of mine needed a new car and God told him to start really taking care of his old car as if it was new. So he cleaned it out, washed it, waxed, etc. as if he were so thankful for it like it was brand new. Then his new car came in. Why did he get blessed? Because besides standing on the Word, he was obedient to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Now, if I need a new car I can't just do what worked for someone else. I need to stand on the Word and be obedient to anything the Holy Spirit speaks to ME concerning it. Maybe God will speak to ME about naming a seed. Maybe it'll be something else. My point is just that Christians need to hear God for themselves instead of trying to follow what everyone else is doing. Does that make sense?

Right is right and wrong is wrong.
Stand for what is right and you'll never go wrong!
(even if you're the only one standing!)

It is so refreshing to finally see that a few people are understanding the true WOF message without following "wrong" teachings. We need a "New Kind of Faith Teacher" who is separating the "wheat from the chaff" teaching. Kudos to you...

Many Word of Faith folks don't realize that Kenneth Copeland's teachings diverge from Hagin's in a number of areas, e.g., sin in the flesh, confession, and Jesus as sin. Personally, I believe that Hagin, once hearing it, would have agreed with your teaching on NT tithing because he was teachable and understood the fullness of redemption in Christ. Copeland, on the other hand, I don't believe would ever move off the teaching that the NT Christian stands cursed for failing to tithe his income.
